Charged Up
During the 2022-2023 season, FIRST® Robotics teams will be playing the brand new CHARGED UP game presented by Haas, which encourages valuable skills, such as teamwork and critical thinking. Teams are encouraged to build mechanically complex designs, many of them being applicable to a career position in their future.
CHARGED UP also enables teams to visualize energy conservation in their own residence, as they interact with Game Pieces that help simplify and exemplify the process for all to understand.
Alliances consisting of 3 teams will compete against each other, with both alliances attempting to gather and score CONES and CUBES, valuable game pieces which will score the alliances points as the match goes on. Alliances will also have the option to balance on the CHARGE STATION, with points being earned by teams keeping the board level.
